I loved the charm of the Club House Hotel. The quirky hallways added character throughout my stay. The staff stood out, especially Brendan at the front desk, who had great dining and tourist tips. The breakfast menu offered plenty of satisfying choices, and I enjoyed my meals there. My room felt a bit dusty in corners. A deeper clean would really enhance the experience. The location was perfect, just a stroll away from many attractions. I appreciated the comfortable bed and overall atmosphere steeped in history. Although navigating the maze-like corridors to my room was a bit confusing, it added to the hotel's unique vibe. Parking was convenient but not guaranteed, so plan ahead.

I loved how the character of this historic building really shines through, and the breakfast options were great, especially with gluten-free choices. It was nice to unwind with some live music in the cozy lounge after exploring the town. Just a heads up, there was some ongoing renovation work that caused a bit of a mess in the lobby, but it didn’t take away from my overall experience. 🎶

would want to stay there again
Charming place with lots of history. Creaky floors and corridors add character. Our double room was cozy with a comfy bed, private bathroom, and a kettle for tea. Staff were super nice, even helped with a phone call. Breakfast had tasty options like hearty porridge and fruit. Parking was tricky to find, but they let us leave the car after check-out to explore Kilkenny more.

We had a wonderful stay with our family, including our young baby. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the delicious Irish breakfast and the bar staff’s recommendations for local eateries, making our visit to Kilkenny even more special.
In my wife’s opinion, a small play area for kids would have been great.

Charming and full of character!
This place is a real find! It's got such a unique vibe with its creaky floors and cool Victorian decor. The staff are super friendly, and the food was tasty, especially the breakfast. Only thing was the bathroom looked a bit dated, but the comfy bed made up for it. A peaceful night's sleep for sure!

Breakfast at Club House Hotel is a whirlwind of deliciousness, hearty Irish soda bread and a proper fry-up set you up for the day! The location's a gem, right in the heart of Kilkenny, making it a breeze to explore. Plus, the friendly staff really adds to the cozy vibe.
While the breakfast was fab, the drink service for it was a bit scatterbrained, leaving folks waiting way too long. Also, the room had some damp areas and stains that you wouldn't expect at this price. A bit more attention to detail could go a long way!
